For the first time this year, we are working with Safeco Insurance to host an Electronics Recycle and Food Drive! With the success of our shredding event the past few years, we thought it'd be good to branch out and start recycling other items you may have too many off. On September 14th, from 10am-1pm, we will have a truck from E-Waste on site to collect your electronics for recycling! E-Waste will then take those items back to their facility to be broken down for safe disposal. This is a great way to get rid of electronics sitting around your home that are broken, out of date, or you just don't use anymore.
With everything that goes into computers, TVs, cell phones and other common electronics, they can't be simply thrown away. This event makes sure that items you no longer need are disposed of in a way that is good for the environment. Feel free to bring TVs, computers, monitors, cell phones, laptops, printers, VHS players and DVD players to be recycled by E-Waste.
Of course, we'll also be collecting food for the Edmonds Food Bank. As you're packing up your electronic items you may want to consider adding in some food for people and pets in our area that could use some help right now.
If you have any questions about the events call our office at 425-774-3200 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll be holding the event at our office at 630 Main Street, just off the parking area between Main Street and Dayton Street. See you Saturday!
