John is President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Washington, as well as past President of the Independent Agents of Snohomish County. In addition to his efforts in the insurance industry, John is active as Treasurer of Boy Scout Troop 312 along with his commitments to the Fulcrum Foundation in Seattle. John works with our commercial clients, as well as personal clients, and is also licensed for life and health issues. |
Sandy McDonald As Office Administrator for McDonald McGarry Insurance, Sandy handles the day-to-day operations as well as accounting. As a licensed agent in the industry for over 35 years, Sandy enjoys the challenge of working in a family business that has the privilege of providing insurance for friends and family in the community. Married to John for 25 years, they reside in Edmonds along with Katy the Retriever and Fred the Insurance Hound. |

Jennifer Reinke At the front desk, Jen wears many hats and folks that call have likely had the opportunity to speak with her. Jen has been with McDonald McGarry for over three years and recently became a Licensed Agent. Along with being our Commercial Customer Service Representative, Jen also handles our technology issues. Jen and her husband Joel live in the Seaview area of Edmonds with their four Pomeranians, two cats and two birds. |
Marie DuBois Marie joined the agency in March of 2010 as our Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to assist you with your questions on auto and home policies. Marie works with John on billing, claims, policy changes and any questions you may have. Married to her husband Jim for 34 years, they live here in Edmonds with their two sons, Steven and Danny, as well as Toby the Lab and Lucy the aloof kitty. |

Meagan McDonald As the third member of the McDonald family to join the team, Meagan came on board to take on the marketing and public relations. Responsible for press releases, newsletters, mailings and community events, Meagan enjoys being around the family business where she grew up. In her spare time, she also works as a costume designer for local theatre companies, most often The Driftwood Players here in Edmonds. |
