Join us for our 2026 Flag Recycle! Do you have a flag that is looking a little worse for wear and you are unsure of how to respectfully dispose of it? Beginning May 18th, we will be collecting worn-out, unserviceable flags. The flags will then be passed on to local scout troops for a formal process of honoring the flags service to our country and officially retiring them through a flag retirement ceremony. This retires the flags respectfully, while the scouts have an opportunity to learn about proper flag handling.
The first 25 people to bring a worn flag into our office will receive a new replacement flag. Please make sure your flags are removed from any poles or attachments, and that they are dry.
